Technical principle of box type PSA nitrogen generator
The equipment relies on the principle of pressure swing adsorption
(PSA) and air separation for nitrogen production, using
high-quality carbon molecular sieves as the adsorption medium.
Compressed clean air is introduced into the adsorption tower. Under
pressure, molecular sieves preferentially adsorb impurities such as
oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air, while nitrogen cannot be
adsorbed and can be retained and separated; During the
decompression process, the adsorbed oxygen is desorbed and
discharged, and the molecular sieve completes the regeneration
cycle.
Two towers alternate between adsorption and desorption processes,
continuously producing high-purity nitrogen gas with a stable
purity of 99.999%, which meets the gas standards for SMT precision
welding processes. The enclosed box structure of the whole machine
isolates external impurities, ensuring stable and efficient
nitrogen production process.

Precautions for safe use of box type PSA nitrogen generator
1. Installation and Environmental Safety
Venue requirements: The equipment must be placed in a well
ventilated, dry, and clean indoor environment, away from open
flames, heat sources, corrosive gases, and dust sources. The ground
must be level and load-bearing, with sufficient space reserved for
maintenance and heat dissipation.
Power supply and grounding: Wiring must be done according to the
rated voltage of the equipment, with reliable grounding to avoid
voltage instability and leakage risks; It is strictly prohibited to
connect wires privately or randomly, and the distribution box must
be equipped with overload and leakage protection devices.
Pipeline and connection: Before installation, check all air pipes
and valves for damage or air leakage, and conduct an air tightness
test after connection; It is strictly prohibited to use unqualified
or expired pipeline fittings to avoid nitrogen leakage.
2. Pre startup safety check
Status confirmation: Check whether the box door is completely
closed and locked, confirm that there is no accumulation of debris
inside the equipment, the cooling fan and temperature control
system are normal, and there are no fault alarms.
Parameter verification: Confirm that the intake pressure, equipment
set pressure, and purity parameters are all within the rated range,
and that the pressure regulating valve and safety valve are in
standard working condition.
Personnel preparation: Operators must be familiar with the
equipment operating procedures and are strictly prohibited from
operating without a license or violating regulations; Clean the
surrounding area of the equipment before starting up, and prohibit
stacking flammable materials.
3. Safety standards for operation process
Operation monitoring: During equipment operation, it is necessary
to regularly observe instrument data such as pressure, purity, and
temperature. If there is a sudden change in pressure, abnormal
purity, or abnormal noise or odor, the machine should be stopped
immediately for troubleshooting.
Prohibited illegal operations: It is strictly prohibited to open
the box door or touch the internal high-temperature/high-pressure
components during operation. It is also prohibited to modify
equipment parameters or disassemble safety protection devices
without authorization.
Nitrogen leakage protection: Nitrogen is an inert gas, and leakage
can reduce the oxygen content in the environment. If a leakage is
found, the machine should be immediately shut down for ventilation,
and personnel should evacuate to a safe area. Treatment can only be
carried out after the oxygen content returns to normal.
4. Maintenance and repair safety
Power off and pressure relief priority: Before any maintenance or
repair operation, the power must be cut off, the internal pressure
of the equipment must be evacuated, and there must be no residual
gas before opening the box door for operation.
Standardize maintenance process: replacement of consumables such as
filter cartridges and molecular sieves should be carried out
according to the instruction manual cycle, using original factory
accessories; During maintenance, be sure to label and warn the
equipment to prevent accidental startup.
Anti static protection: When conducting maintenance in dusty
environments, it is necessary to wear an anti-static wristband to
avoid safety hazards caused by static sparks.
5. Shutdown and long-term storage safety
Normal shutdown: During shutdown, gradually release pressure and
turn off the power according to standard procedures. It is
forbidden to directly shut down the machine to avoid damage to
components caused by pipeline pressure impact.
Long term storage: If the equipment is not in use for a long time,
the internal gas should be emptied, and it should be sealed for
moisture and dust prevention. The status of pipelines and
electrical components should be checked regularly to prevent
moisture and corrosion.
